Graduates from this SAIT program may transfer to the Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies (BCMS) program. This diploma will be credited toward eight of the required twenty full course equivalents toward the BCMS degree. The remaining twelve full-course equivalents must include all University of Calgary requirements for the BCMS. If you want to attempt to complete the post-diploma BCMS in two years you will have to complete two full-course equivalents in the Spring or Summer sessions; otherwise you may need to take an additional year. A Co-op Option is also available in which you complete three paid work terms (4 months) alternating with academic terms. This will normally add a year to your completion time.
